VERY IMPORTANT: Page names and links must use Wiki Names - for details of what a WikiName is please either read part 8 of FormattingRules or click on the WikiName link here - basically thought a WikiName is two or more capatilised words joined together without spaces. ie WikiName and WikiNameExampleA. Read the WikiName page for why this is so important.
This is the same as creating a new page, except you do not go on to edit the page yourself after creation. You leave someone else to do it. At this point the WikiName link for the page will show a red dotted line so people can identify it as a wanted page.

Edit an existing post, highlight the word or name you think would be good to have explained in more detail, then click on the Hyperlink button on the edit bar (this is the one third from right on the edit bar, with the little globe and a chain link in front of it).
The first box it brings up asks for the link name. By default it places the text that you highlighted however that is not suitable, you need to use a WikiName (a WikiName is two or more Capatilised words joined together without spaces. For example 'WikiWord'). So again, using Trekkie Monster as an example, lets say you've highlighted that words "trekkie monster", and clicked the hyperlink button, you'd replace the default text of "trekkie monster" with a WikiName of "TrekkieMonster". Click on OK.
Finally it brings up the text u want to link. For this box just keep the highligh text that it places there by default. Click on OK.
And thats it. It sounds more complex than it is. After a couple of tries youll have it mastered.

*ALL WantedPages have a red dotted line underneath them, so that you can easily see what pages people are wanting. If you feel you can add information to the wanted page, click that red dotted line link at any time to get to the page and edit it yourself. :)

*If you do edit a page for any reason please state what edits you may in the "Please add a note on your edit" box that lies directly below the main edit box on all pages. This comment appears on the RecentChanges page and gives people an at-a-glance view of what changes have been made to the page rather than having to click deeper into the changes section and investigate what changes were made.

Thanks for visiting the Ostomyland Wicked Wiki!
You need to login and then double-click on any page or click on the "Edit page" link at the bottom to get started editing an existing page.
Here's how to create a NEW page.
1. Either edit an existing page to include a link to a new page that does not yet exist - this will add that page to the WantedPages list for you to then surf to and click on the relevent page name to start editing.
or
2. Surf directly to the name of the page you want to create. For example, lets say you want to create a page about TrekkieMonster you would surf to http://ostomyland.com/wiki/TrekkieMonster∞ and click on the EDIT link at the bottom of the page, or double click anywhere in it's blank white space.
How to add to the WantedPages section
Edit an existing post, highlight the word or name you think would be good to have explained in more detail, then click on the Hyperlink button on the edit bar (this is the one third from right on the edit bar, with the little globe and a chain link in front of it. The first box it brings up asks for the link name. By default it places the text that you highlighted. If there are spaces in that text you need to remove them and capitalise the first letter of each word instead. Click on the OK button, it then asks you for the text you want linking. Again the Wiki automatically puts the highlighted text in there and in this case there is NO NEED to edit out existing spaces etc.
Important:
*For now his Wiki is for OSTOMY and OSTOMYLAND.COM related content only please.

*If you wish to add supplemental information to an existing page please place it at the bottom.
*If you do edit a page for any reason please state what edits you may in the "Please add a note on your edit" box that lies directly below the main edit box on all pages.
*ALL changes to ALL pages are logged by the Wiki and can be viewed by everyone who is logged in. View the RecentChanges page.
