Well, basically because it saves people a lot of coding when they edit pages. If they want to link to a new page they simply need type the WikiName for the page, and the script will automatically create the link. For example here I am just going to write WikiNameExampleC on the end of this line and it will change it into code for me.

Wiki page names - or
WikiNames are two or more capitalized words joined together without spaces. They are easy to read, write and remember, yet distinctive enough to be recognized by the computer as hyperlinks.
Simple, consistent wikinames are best, but ZWiki allows some variations:
* a wikiname can have one or more numeric digits appended (
WikiNameExample10)
* some (but not all) of the
CapitalizedWords may consist of a single capital letter (
WikiNameExampleB)
* any word or phrase enclosed in square brackets will be treated as a wikiname ([non-wikiname example]?)
* any
WikiName wrapped in double quotation marks ( ie ) will not be linked.
Why use
WikiNames?
Well, basically because it saves people a lot of coding when they edit pages. If they want to link to a new page they simply need type the
WikiName for the page, and the script will automatically create the link. For example here I am just going to write WikiNameExampleA on the end of this line and it will change it into code for me.

See? Double click on this page and look at the code, you see that the word is just sat there by itself and not linked in any way shape or form.
And that is why
WikiNames are so handy.
Top Tip:
Whenever you create a new page please remember to use
WikiNames. Thanks. :)
