The lifestyle guide pages of Ostomyland has long been the main content of this site. It started life over 13 years ago as my hospital diaries, and once I got back home I kept more entries and started to convert all of them into a Colostomy lifestyle guide.

Today I’m pleased to be able to announce that as well as being available on this site to read for free at any time, you can now also buy a copy of the whole 104 page guide as a printed book.

The pages of the guide will always be available to read online on Ostomyland for free. But this printed book option is ideal for anyone, for example, who is surfing for a friend as it saves them from having to print all the pages out themselves, or for an upcoming ostomate to be able to read in comfort at home, and it also offers the reader a permanently available source of reference on most things a colostomate may encounter on the road through life with a colostomy.

The printed version of the guide is also the most bang up to date version. Many revisions were made. Even Fuzzbutt, our furry site mascot, has managed to sneak her way into the book offering her own top tips and advice in various sections!
