Update to our earlier post on product costs
Earlier in the year, as part of our Fuzzbutt’s Top Tips feature, we made a post which tried to list as many websites and organisations that we could find which offered subsidised or free ostomy products to people in need.
This week we heard from Ostomy Angels which is a new website offering free products to people unable to afford them for just the price of shipping and handling, and so they have been added to the posts listings too.
Based in the USA (Austin, Texas) you can make a donation to Ostomy Angels, or find out more details about this service by visiting their website.

According to an article in ‘Medical News Today‘ results published recently in the journal ‘Ostomy Wound Management‘ showed that ET nurses and people living with all types of ostomy reported very high levels of satisfaction with a new moldable skin barrier pioneered by ConvaTec Ostomy Care.
