Wishing you a Very Happy 30th Birthday, Sean!
On February 26th, 2008 our message board will have had it’s first month using the new system/software thanks to the upgrade from phpBB2 to the rather funky and cool-to-use phpBB3.
I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their patience whilst the admins got to grips with what buttons did what and so on, and also for all the nice comments people have given about the new forum boards features and ease-of-use.
So, a big thank you to all the board members. Here’s to looking forward to many more months of phpBB3 powered fun.
If you are not a member of our message board community, why not pop over and visit us now. Registration is free. “Living with a Colostomy” - the book version of the Ostomyland Lifestyle Guide, has been massively updated and is now available to download as a .pdf file, which can be opened in Adobe Reader.
Why download the file, when the pages are on the site to read? Well, maybe someone would like to download and print it out to give to a family member, or friend, who is in hospital. Or quite often we get Ostomates downloading it and giving it to their family so that they can understand what a Colostomy is all about.
Now in colour, Version 2.1 of the download features all the chapters you can find on the website, as well as space for personal notes, and a medical contacts section where you can keep all your important Ostomy contacts together. For example family doctor/surgeon contact details, ostomy product codes and descriptions and more!
The new Lifestyle Guide Download page can be found here, and is listed in the guides menu on the left hand side of the page.
I hope you enjoy this updated version of the download guide.
